Summer Camp England

28th July 2011

Sunny Day

A gorgeous Thursday in York consumed the camp! Sun shined all day and the weather was warm. A perfect day for the Activity & Adventure crew to go off skiing in Sheffield. The Performing Arts sang and danced their morning away, English was gearing up for their big English cooking class on Friday, while Creative Arts began making three-dimensional face masks.
The afternoon had activities in Period C, but the rest of the afternoon the campers made up chants, cheers, dances, and signs for their Big Day Teams. The Red Beatles, The Green Queens, The Yellow Gagas, and the Black Eyed Peas will be battling out for Friday's BIG DAY! The evening was marked with an activity of swiftness, boldness, courage, and fun-Mission Impossible. A few campers passed the mark and succeeded their mission! Way to go, campers!
