Summer Camp Chiclana, Spain
Arrivals day for session 2 in Chiclana, Spain!
Today was arrivals day for our second session of the summer here in Chiclana, Spain. The sun was shining and the breeze was blowing and the campers were happy to have arrived.
We had some parent drop offs and some airport pick ups throughout the day. Campers arrived, met our Camp Director Angel, Programme Director Meg, and headed off with their luggage to check out their new rooms in the lovely and charming El Pilar building (which features a beautiful Spanish patio!) As campers arrived we played volleyball and other games, did some arts and crafts making bracelets and name tags, and headed to the pool for a refreshing swim and more games.
The campers were all eager to learn each other's names and make new friends right away! It was awesome to see.
We headed up to Comedor Don Bosco for some dinner, and then split into our colour groups for a tour of the Complejo Campano grounds. They checked out the rock wall, the farm, important meeting spots and more.
Then it was early to bed as we had some exhausted campers coming from all over the world, excited for a full and fun day tomorrow.
