Summer Camp Boston, USA

11th July 2015

Back to work....

Today, Saturday, July 11, 2015, was an eventful day. In the morning classes took place from 9 am until 1 pm. In the ESL class, the learning goal was that students will be able to write and respond to a writing prompt in the past tense by using irregular verbs that was focused on the previous class day. In the TOEFL class, it was a similar learning goal, but the focus was more on more formal an informal writing prompts that were taken directly from the standardize exam. Toward the end of class, ESL teachers took the students to the library to develop better English reading skills. While in the library, students learned how important it is to read in order to better English speaking and written skills. They also learned about different authors that are popular her in the United States.

After lunch, afternoon activities were filled with excitement as the students participated in basketball, volleyball and casino night. The student not only learned to collectively work together, but also learned to deal with money and count.
