Sports Day!
Wow, what another amazing day in the Ardèche!
With the sun shining bright, we filled the morning with chaotic sports fun for all River teams while the Advanced Adventures made their way to Le Tunnel for some scenic rock climbing!
After a well deserved wet and wild lunch break, the campers took a trip to La Grotte Chauvet 2. Just imagine the expressions from the campers as they entered the space filled with an extraordinary collection of paintings, drawings and engravings reproduced from the original Chauvet Cave, our very own UNESCO Chauvet-Pont d'Arc Cave here in the heart of the Ardèche!
During a day full of adventure, our fantastic kitchen staff prepared a delicious dinner for us to arrive back at camp and enjoy! Not just any meal though, but our chef Wombat cooked up a vegan dish - where she introduced us all to the single most effective way of helping our planet as individuals!
Well, that's all for today - it's time for a night's rest preparing us for some more Ardèche adventures tomorrow!
