Hello Campers!
Welcome to Village Camps! The river is sparkling, the breezes are blowing, and the clouds are beginning to depart! It's only 11 AM but arrivals day is in full swing, with the first 6 campers have arrived. I'm Mate, and I'll be your humble correspondent for the next two weeks. Check in here for daily updates, photos, counselor profiles, and maybe even videos. I'll be updating this page with photos throughout the day, so stay tuned! Wow - what an amazing arrivals day! The drop-offs slowly trickled in throughout the day, as more and more campers begin to fill the grounds. At about 6 PM the bus carrying campers All campers aboard! After a quick game of Buggy Up, we all headed off to a well-earned dinner for the first time as a whole camp. The excitement was in the air as we all heard about the program to come and learned some of the ground-rules of camp. After dinner, groups headed off for a full camp tour, before reconvening at the fire circle for a debrief and introduction to the counselor team. Currently, the campers are preparing for bed and a 7.30 wake up tomorrow. Camp is finally here and we are all so excited!Today's Menu (short version)
- Breakfast: None
- Lunch: Pack lunch (cheese,meat,tomatoes,hummus,salad and fruit)
- Dinner: Beef lasagne (vegeterian option available), with garlic bread, fresh green salad, and a selection of olives, pickles, seasonal vegetables, and bread. Desert - Brownies
- Subject to change. Vegetarian options always available.
