Summer Camp Ardèche, France

17th July 2014

Sunny, warm day full of adventure!

The campers woke up to a bright sunny day, ate a delicious breakfast and were ready to start off an exciting day full of adventure!

The Frenchies had the opportunity to chat and interview with Eric, a caving specialist who knows the caves in the area extremely well. They asked him not only about concepts and technicalities, but also inquired him about his experience, preferences and any tip he could give them. All of this was particularly useful because in the afternoon, some of the Frenchies got to visit one of the caves in the area and live total darkness and silence for themselves. As described by one of the campers, it was a once in a life experience!

Meanwhile, some of the River campers headed off for a day of Via Ferrata, an adventurous activity full of adrenaline! Others stayed at camp and participated in the VC Olympics, where three teams fought for the victory through Gaga Ball, dancing games and archery.

The day was topped off with an intense live game of Clue, where the campers, in teams, were challenged to solve a mysterious crime by carrying out different tasks such as playing cards with Jack the Black, hoola hooping, composing a song and other fun challenges!

It has been a beautiful day, and we are all ready for an even more fun day tomorrow at.. Aqualand! Good night, and thank you for this lovely day!
