Excellent Day in the Ardèche!
Today was a fantastic day in the Ardèche! The river experience campers had a cultural experience at the Valon market this morning. The campers got a chance to sample Ardeche nougat, cheese, and saucisson which is dry cured sausage that originates in France. It was a great experience for all of us!
This afternoon we got together for our first all camp canoe extravaganza! We paddled 5km through four rapids: PTT, Le Petit Doigt, Les Branches, and finally Charlemagne. After paddling under the majestic Pont D'Arc, we stopped to have a delicious snack of bisquits, chocolate and fresh fruit. We also had time to have a refreshing swim cooling off from the hot Southern French sun.
Dinner tonight will be followed by evening program which is super team challenge! This activity involves teamwork and of course a lot of fun:)
- Breakfast: Fresh bread, jam, nutella, assortment of cereals, yoghurt, orange juice, fresh fruit
- Lunch: Packed picnic lunch
- Dinner: Salad buffet, roast lamb, potatoes, mixed vegetables, lemon tart!
