Summer Camp Ardèche, France
Today in the Ardeche!
It was another wonderful, action packed day here in the Ardeche! Our river 1 and 2 group started their day by going to the ropes course. The campers had a blast going through the course which included: wheel barrels, nets, tunnels and zip lines! Some of the campers had never done a ropes course before; however they all did a great job and pushed their comfort zones. Upon return to camp many said that it was their favorite activity so far! In the afternoon the same campers had free choice activities which included: Arts and crafts where they made beautiful dream catchers out of natural and man-made materials, football, and volleyball. The French class had an exciting afternoon of rock climbing where they each had a great time taking turns attempting to reach the top of the rock face! The campers are now preparing for the two day grande descent down the amazing Ardeche River! Camp has been an incredible experience so far for campers and staff; we are all thrilled to wrap up our 2 week session by spending it together on the most beautiful river in the world!
- Breakfast: Fresh bread, jam, nutella, assortment of cereals, yoghurt, orange juice, fresh fruit
- Lunch: Salad buffet, Ravioli, fresh fruit
- Dinner: Salad buffet, Mexican style chicken breast, rice, sauteed peppers, fruit salad
