Summer Camp Ardèche, France
Having a great weekend in the Ardèche!
Today was another amazing day in the Ardèche! Some of our campers started off by making their own flag for the flag hike! They then hiked to the bluff overlooking our camp site and the beautiful Ardèche River! Another group of our campers went on a full day canyoning trip! They zipped up their wet suits and set off down the river, slipping and sliding their way through several obstacles.
The French groups are working on a documentary all about Village Camps; from the way the kitchen works to how we as staff run and plan for activities.
This afternoon the campers participated in choice activities that included: arts and crafts, ultimate frisbe and archery! For tonight's evening activity, the camp separated into six teams and rotated from volleyball to football and a game called "gags" which involves laughing till your stomach aches.
- Breakfast: Fresh bread, jam, nutella, assortment of cereals, yoghurt, orange juice, fresh fruit
- Lunch: Packed picnic lunch
- Dinner: Salad buffet, beef goulash, mixed vegetables, Lemon tarte
