Never a dull moment!
There is never a dull moment in the Ardeche! This morning the campers enrolled in River 1 and 2 spent a wonderful morning at the Vallon pont D'arc market. The market introduced some of our campers to rich French culture including: delicious food, lovely smells of the local herbs and spices, local French crafts, and music. Those campers enrolled in the French program spent the morning at camp learning new vocabulary that describe the differences between fashion in various cultures. The entire camp came back to base for a delicious meal among friends and their counselors. After lunch, the campers prepared their kit for the mini descente. We all spent a fabulous adventure-filled afternoon on the river enjoying the beautiful scenery and rapids. We could not have asked for a better day!
- Breakfast: Fresh bread, jam, nutella, assortment of cereals, yoghurt, orange juice, fresh fruit
- Lunch: Salad, quiche, fresh fruit
- Dinner: Bbq veal steak, sautéed potatoes, strawberries and cream
