Wet and wild
The start of a new week is here, and with it has brought a fantastic day out at (insert drum roll here) AQUALAND!
Campers were up early to make the 3 hour trip south to the water park at Le Cape D'agde, journeying through small villages, alongside rivers, and past vineyards and fields of sunflowers. Relief was felt once inside the park gates, with no time wasted to get into inflatable tubes and down the slippery slides.
Favourite escapades of the day included the speed slide Niagara, the 3 person steep drop of Colorado, and the mean and extreme - The Wave.
A day at Aqualand is also a day of taking on responsibility for oneself, and proving respect for the environment in which we were in. And the campers were outstanding in their behaviour, punctuality and attitude. Great work guys!
Everyone got their fill of sweets and soft drink, before jumping back onto the bus to head back to camp, were a delicious light meal awaited.
