Following the long-standing success of our Leadership Training Camp, Village Camps is pleased to introduce our new Learning To Lead (LTL) programme in Zell am See Austria.
Aimed at empowering younger campers aged 13 and 15, this challenging but fun programme is the perfect introduction to becoming a leader. The Learning To Lead participants stay at our beautiful hotel residence amongst the Austrian Alps, which is the perfect, breathtaking, setting for this fantastic programme.
For 3 hours every weekday morning the LTL campers will participate in activities that teach leadership, team building, responsibility and independence as well as hearing from an international group of motivational and educational speakers.
This morning programme aims to introduce opportunities for participants to develop their leadership skills as well as beginning to understand goal setting and how to achieve results.
A series of speakers will present to the group on different aspects of life skills that are relatable to 13 and 15-year olds.
Presentations with subjects like goal setting, the importance of believing in yourself, self-confidence and positive leadership will open the participants eyes to new ideas and potentials.

Specially adapted Leadership games designed to challenge, as well as develop and understand different leadership styles and skills through a variety of challenges around camp and around Zell am See.
Working together as a team to develop and lead activities for different groups in the camp
Working with counsellors from other parts of the camp leading younger campers
The afternoons and evenings will be spent with their peers from the other programmes at camp in a variety of fun and exciting activities.
More traditional camp activities take a different twist as we assign and discuss the values of different parts of the activities. Campers learn to facilitate change in their own lives, and we encourage responsibility by working with them to create expectations of behaviour and desired outcomes from camp and life in general.
We develop goals and strategies for achieving these goals in an exciting and engaging way. All the while having fun and developing new friendships and networks.
Accommodations, Excursions & Activities
Housed in the Chalet Notburgahof with the capacity to accommodate up to 80 campers and staff members, this camp has a privileged location. Fully-equipped on-site multi-purpose gym for sports and evening activities, as well as language classrooms, video-making studio with Imacs, internet café, conference room tennis and badminton courts. Evening activities include the popular Indoors-Olympics, Team-building Challenges and much more.
