Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria

Take care my friends, see you soon!

Today our campers had a rollercoaster of emotions. It was time to pack and say goodbye to old and new friends. But to say goodbye to camp, our campers had a morning full of adventure and learning. This morning our adventure campers had time to go Kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, biked to mini golf, learned survival techniques in the forest and continued to practice archery, all in the same morning! At the same time our English and German students wrote the latest news for their newspaper. After lunch, it was the start of the sad part of the day. Our campers packed their bags and began to say goodbye whilst the counselors prepared a disco night where our campers (and our counselors) were able to show off their best dance moves. So many good dancers between these campers! Before the disco we were able to enjoy a delicious barbecue and some traditional Austrian desserts and we also had a wonderful surprise - a traditional Austrian music group! Three traditional dancers paid us a visit, who played the different music and dances from Austria.The disco was a hit and everybody, campers and counsellors enjoyed a couple of hours of good music and good atmosphere and we had time to watch the camp video! You can watch it down below. After the disco there were many farewell hugs, exchange of phone numbers and social networks and some tears. We would like to to congratulate all our campers for these two incredible weeks and thank all our counselors who have been giving 100% at all times. See you at the next Village Camp!
