Friday of Carnival!
The first Friday for our campers here at the Jugendhotel Notburgahof and they didn’t stop doing activities all day! In the morning, the lessons for German and English campers continued as normal and some of our adventure campers had fun kayaking, playing mini golf and biking. They also learnt different techniques like building a shelter, filtering water and archery. But for the afternoon and evening activities, our amazing counsellors prepared the Clash of Camps and a Carnival night! After lunch our campers were separated into teams: Water, Fire, Air and Earth. They took part in crazy relay races, with flippers whilst balancing a cup of water on their head or throwing a wet sponge with a catapult! At the end of this "battle" of elements, the teams had to use all of their strength and energy in the tug-of-war game. Our campers are really strong! To end the afternoon, we had a pool party where our campers spent time playing some games with our counsellors, riding on the water slide and cooling down from Clash Of Camps. For dinner tonight, the camp staff prepared a delicious BBQ that helped recharge our campers! For dessert we had a little surprise and enjoyed a delicious home-made gelato. And that’s when the Village Camp Carnival started! The campers needed to go around our camp playing the different games. Games such as pillow fighting, bowling, elephant bowling or trying new, mystery activities like henna tattoos or a fortune teller. The campers were winning tickets that they could exchange for prizes or to enter a competition. Such a fun night! See you tomorrow!
