Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
Thursday, wonderful surprise!
What a special day we had today! First in the morning, our adventure campers took part in very top-secret adventure activities! The blues went rafting, where they needed to work as a team to get down the river. At the same time the yellows, our youngest campers went to the Kitzsteinhorn Mountain which stands at a staggering 3203m! They visited the museum of the glacier and enjoyed the lovely weather sledding on the Austrian snow. The reds they enjoyed the lovely weather practising some Windsurf. Meanwhile our language campers put the finishing touches on the camp newspaper- to be published tomorrow! But of course, that wasn’t all! In the afternoon with all of our campers back, we went to the field close to our camp to play some games vs our counsellors. Who do you think was the winner? And after that we enjoyed the lovely sun with a pool party! Our campers had time to play more games with our counsellors, buy some ice-cream and cool down in the water. In the evening, we had our wonderful surprise - a traditional Austrian music group! Three traditional dancers paid us a visit, who played the different music and dances from Austria. To end the day we went to the field nearby for a campfire, where we toasted marshmallows and played some music. The best way to end a busy day in Village Camp! Until tomorrow!
