Excursion Day
What a wonderful day we had here in Village Camps Austria. Today we all went on a trip to Salzburg. Firstly, we visited Hellbrunn Palace. It is a place where some of the scenes from the Sound of Music were filmed. Campers really enjoyed their time there because Hellbrunn Palace has lots of the hidden fountains that can be very tricky.
After having our lunch in the park near the Hellbrunn Palace, we went to the city centre where we spent 2 hours shopping and exploring the city.
As soon as we came back to the camp, we had a very delicious dinner after which our yellow campers played the EGGstream games. Tomorrow we will announce which team is going to be the winner in the whole camp meeting. Our reds played Trivia and had a great time! Blues spent their evening playing bowling in Salzburg!
- Breakfast: Oatmeal with cinnamon, cereals, chocolate musli, milk, hot chocolate, tomatoes, butter, cheese, bread, strawberry / raspberry jams
- Lunch: Packed lunch - sandwich
- Dinner: Potatoes Au Gratin, roasted vegetables, salad bar, turkey, ice-cream
