International camp, international Tuesday
Hello there, today has been another full day with emphasis on the international aspect of the Village Camps community. The morning went as usual - in language classes students talked about the new vocabulary which they used and learnt when cooking yesterday. Verbs and nouns which can be used in the kitchen, but not only, of course.
Film students were busy editing as already on Thursday all the others will get to see the final films. Not only the footage and story needs to be put together, but also music and sound effect. Atmosphere is intense and productive.
Adventure campers had Survival lessons, mini golf and low ropes. Mini golf was very appreciated, also because the weather was beautiful for being outside. In the Survival site, there were many impressive shelters built which looked as cosy as they could possibly be. Definitely good enough for spending night in the forest.
In the afternoon campers were divided in groups in order to prepare the performances for the International Night which took place later in the evening. There was Eastern Europe & Baltic States, Western Europe, Central Europe, Asia, Americas, Scandinavia and Arab Nations. People in costumes and with decorations were running around and preparing skits, dances and songs which they would present about their concrete regions. The whole show in the evening was spectacular, funny and definitely marked some stereotypes which we all knew that existed. We also had international dinner as some students with help of staff members prepared different dishes from all around the world. We had the chance to try some plov, hummus, pizza, cucumber salad, etc.

- Lunch: Chili con carne, polenta, lentil stew, salad bar
