Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
The hike day is here
Hi everyone, today is the day when everyone went to the big hike. In the morning we woke up a bit later than usual, at eight. Yellows said that it was almost too much of sleep (is that even possible, one could wonder). We had nice and slow Saturday breakfast and then everyone had time to clean their rooms and pack their bags. The weather was grey and rainy, so it was quite important to have warm clothes and be prepared for this weather.
Before lunch campers could go to the store to get some snacks for the hike and get their phones from the bank. After lunch everyone was ready. There were three different huts - one was were the blue boys went, another for yellow and red boys, and finally another one for all the girls. Some went by buses, some by vans and then eventually everyone took the lifts to get up the mountain where they could start the hike.
- Breakfast: Oatmeal, fruits, bread, cheese, ham, jams, honey, hot chocolate, cottage cream
- Lunch: Curry rice (chicken and vegetarian), salad bar, fruits
- Dinner: at the hut
