The Sun and the VC film festival
Today was one of the last days of classes for language students. The weather outside was fantastic, so the German students went on the terrace and made their own magazine in German.
English students played a game in which all the students except one see a picture of a famous person or a character. The class has to describe this person to the student who hasn't t seen the picture, so that he / she can guess who this person is. This game provoked a lot of laughing.
Film students were making posters for their films as they were preparing for the VC film festival which took place in the evening. Last advices from the teachers, last names added in the credits, and the films are ready.
Adventure campers played the field games. There was a set of tasks that each team had to do and it involved tennis elements, hula hoop, frisbee, running, jumping, carrying an egg in a spoon (and making sure it doesn't fall out), etc.
In the afternoon blues, reds and yellows played sports (ultimate frisbee and football) all together and after that there was a pool party in the outside swimming pool.
The evening activity was the VC film festival. Seven films by our seven film students. Some of them were a bit nervous, but that is only normal before the premiere. We also heard some stories of how the directors got inspired and what are the main ideas of their film projects.
- Breakfast: oatmeal with cinnamon, cereals, chocolate musli, milk, hot chocolate, tomatoes, butter, cheese, bread, strawberry / raspberry jams
- Lunch: French fries, chicken, salad bar, ketchup, mushroom sauce
- Dinner: Goulash (vegetarian and with meat), salad bar, bread, watermelon
