Let's Take A Trip To Salzburg!!
The day finally arrived for our excursion to Salzburg and despite the rainy weather (again) our campers were still excited. We all put on our Village Camps t-shirts and wristbands, packed our lunches, and boarded the bus for our journey. Our first stop of the morning was at Hellbrunn Palace for the reds and yellows, and Mirabell Gardens for the blues. After visiting the picturesque places where many scenes from The Sound of Music were filmed.
After the morning visit we headed to the city centre of Salzburg where we split into small groups and had some free time to go shopping and walk around the city. Luckily we were able to hide inside shops from the rain where we were able to buy some cool souvenirs for our friends and family.
We returned to camp for dinner then spent the evening inside playing MacGyver with the reds where their creativity and resourcefulness was tested and they had to create new devices of the future. The yellows played Egg-streme Games where they competed to win objects to protect their team's egg from an upcoming egg drop. The blues stayed a bit longer in Salzburg to have dinner and to go bowling before they returned to camp at bed time.

- Dinner: Turkey Filet, Potato Gratin, Ratatouille, Salad Bar, Ice Cream Sundae
