Though very much a Northern Girl, Sophie Jewitt has learned to hide it well through her performing arts training. Additionally she has appeared in 6 films, over 50 stage shows and has owned a theatre company; making her perfectly suitable to play the role of the Yellow group leader for the second year.

Sophie has now worked 6 straight seasons with Village Camps, earning her the nickname 'Limpet', because she can only be removed with a surprise strike from a stone. When not working here she can be found nannying in Verbier during the winter.

Having qualified as a Divemaster and a snowboard instructor, Sophie has put forward a request to teach those activities during Summer Camp despite the obvious problems of there being no suitable dive sites or snow nearby. “My determination shall never waver” she has said.
