This is an exciting and challenging programme that introduces those campers enthusiastic about the outdoors to a thrilling range of water sports and beach activities. This busy programme also takes adventure campers into the forests and trails that surround the camp and uses the excellent on-site activity facilities at our campus.
Our all-action Atlantic Coast Adventure programme has something for all campers who enjoy outdoor activities with:
challenging Mountain Biking directly from our accommodation
a short walk or drive to the beaches for Surfing and Beach activities
Climbing in Port Novo
Paddle boarding in Obidos Lagoon
The activities alternate each weekday between choices in and around the beaches of Santa Cruz and alternative non-beach adventures both close to the hotel and further afield. Campers on this programme spend about 3-hours each weekday on the adventure activities, usually in the mornings. However, times may vary when surfing. Adventure campers join the Surfers for many of their on-water and beach activities. These are the principal activities on the Adventure camp:
Intro to surfing
Rock Climbing - outdoor and indoor
Tree top ropes course
Visiting caves and speleology
