Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
Festival Friday: Suncream, Smiles & Fun!
Campers had an absolute blast on Festival Friday, donning suncream, face paint, and wide smiles!
Our morning kicked off with a scenic adventure in Leysin. Surrounded by forests, grassy landscapes, and majestic mountains, our stage was set for challenging activities and team-building games. Split into two groups, the campers engaged in activities which emphasised effective communication and collaboration.
At midday, all of our Village campers, from the greens to the Blues and of course our LTC campers trekked to the breathtaking Profandaz, a mountain-top campfire site with stunning views of Lake Geneva. After a scrumptious BBQ lunch, the campers were sorted into four teams - earth, fire, water, and air! Each team created their own team chant, wore festive and color-appropriate face paint, and competed in races and a tug of war. The day ended with an exhilarating carnival, featuring activities like "Oily Pig," "Gladiator," "Tight Rope," "Fortune Teller," "Name That Tune," "Monster Munch," "Karaoke," "Stomp," and "Grumpy Bear Pong"!
Friday was a fun yet exhausting day for both campers and staff, and now everyone is off to bed, eagerly anticipating the excursions planned for tomorrow!
- Breakfast: Breakfast Buffet: Yoghurts, Cereals, bread, Omelette
- Lunch: BBQ: Hamburgers, sausages, sliced cheese, various salads, veg option: Veg Burger, Juice Boxes, Tortilla Chips
- Dinner: Pizza, Pasta Station, Profiterols.
