Thrilling Thursday: A Crowd Favourite Day!
Thursday at Village Camps was abuzz with excitement as our campers enjoyed a day filled with engaging activities that left a lasting impression. We were fortunate to have Cameron Parker, an experienced expert with over 12 years of working with young minds, grace us with an inspiring talk that truly resonated with our campers. Thank you Cameron. After a crowd favourite lunch (butter chicken and rice), we embarked on a beautiful hike, exploring the stunning Alps. The challenging ascent led us to Temeley, a local fromagerie and cheese shop where we indulged in some much-needed ice cream. The descent back to the village was equally invigorating, leaving us ready to unwind during our restful free time before dinner. As our day came to an end, our campers eagerly dove into planning "Event X," a thrilling upcoming activity where everyone would participate. Multiple groups brainstormed and devised creative ideas, armed with a budget and some guidelines to shape the event according to their preferences. Each group is gearing up to present their proposals, and we'll collectively vote for the our collective preferred activity. Thursday at Village Camps was a day of adventure, inspiration, and creativity, leaving our campers with cherished memories and a sense of anticipation for the exciting activities yet to come.
