Safe and Sound: All aboard for an unforgettable LTC Journey!
Greetings from Leysin!
We extend a warm welcome to Village Camps Leadership Training Camp (LTC) for 2023's highly anticipated "Arrivals Day!". After meticulous planning and preparation, we are delighted to announce the long-awaited arrival of Session Two of the LTC Program. The inaugural Arrivals Day in Leysin is now underway, and we are pleased to report the safe arrival of all 28 LTC students at camp.
The atmosphere here today is wonderful with enthusiasm as LTC Camp Leader David, accompanied by counselors Noelle, Sanri, Dominic, and Madeline, imparts essential information regarding the camp's rules and protocols. The students are actively assimilating the instructions and guidelines, establishing a solid foundation for a fruitful and enriching LTC camp experience.
In the evening, the LTC students enthusiastically participated in thoughtfully curated icebreaker events, fostering robust connections among themselves. These enjoyable activities have been assiduously designed to promote camaraderie, enhance confidence, and lay the groundwork for their upcoming journey.
Considering the students' travel fatigue from today's arduous journey and the action-packed day awaiting them tomorrow, we have thoughtfully arranged for an earlier bedtime this evening. This well-deserved rest will ensure they awaken well-rested and invigorated, ready to embark on an exciting day loaded with adventures and opportunities for personal growth.
