Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
A Memorable Farewell
Today marked the last day of camp, but this did not set in with campers until the very end.
In the morning, we had "Event X" which involved spending a few hours on Lake Geneva. After breakfast and preparing packed lunches, we boarded the bus and headed there. The campers enjoyed their time on standup paddle boards, relaxing by the lake, and exploring Villeneuve.
The afternoon was quieter as we began wrapping things up. The campers were divided into their counsellor groups and asked to evaluate the program. They received certificates and wrote letters to their future selves, which will be mailed to them next year. Afterwards, everyone cleaned their rooms and packed their belongings, ensuring more time to spend together in the evening and be prepared for departure the following morning.
After dinner, the campers gathered at Profunda for a bonfire, s'mores, and to witness the sunset. They returned one last time to the hotel foyer to watch the camp video and bid their farewells.
The LTC staff would like to take this opportunity to wish all the LTC campers good luck and extend their best wishes.
