Aigle Poolside Delights & Ice Skating Fun
The day began with our LTC campers gathering for a refreshing breakfast, ready to recharge after a week filled with excitement and for the anticipation for the upcoming days. With satisfied stomachs, we eagerly awaited David Allen, our LTC camp director, as he prepared to deliver his final session. David's presentation centered around the concepts of choices, confidence and overcoming fears. He delved into how those factors influence us, the biases that we hold, and ultimately, how to make better choices. The campers and counselors would like expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dave for sharing his invaluable knowledge and wisdom.

Following a satisfying lunch, our group embarked on a leisurely walk to the train station, ready to venture to Aigle for a much-needed day by the pool. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, with clear skies and warm sunshine. As soon as we arrived, the campers wasted no time in diving into the refreshing pool waters, sliding down thrilling water slides, and zipping across exhilarating zip lines. The joyous atmosphere was further enhanced by the delightful indulgence in ice creams and treats, adding a sweet touch to this picturesque summer day.
However, the excitement was far from over for our enthusiastic campers. As part of the evening program, we headed to the ice-skating rink in Leysin for a memorable ice-skating adventure. For some campers, and even a few counselors, it marked their very first time on the ice. This presented an opportunity for everyone to come together, offering a helping hand, sharing laughter, and creating cherished memories. The rink was loud with the sounds of cheers and the infectious laughter of friends and mentors, as they glided, stumbled, and twirled on the glistening ice.
The day had been a perfect blend of thrilling activities, relaxation by the pool, and new experiences on the ice. The LTC campers eagerly awaited the adventures that lay ahead, cherishing the camaraderie and spirit of togetherness fostered throughout their journey.
