Summer Camp England

1st July 2015

England is warm and sunny!

Today we woke up to a beautiful clear sky and blazing sun. Day three was going to be scorcher. Golf and horse riding headed off with sunscreen in hand.

Activity and Adventure set off around the grounds with maps in hand to learn different survival skills. They would build stretchers, shelters, have fun with compasses and create cheesecake without any form of baking equipment.

Performing arts began to test their vocal skills with our amazing performing arts coordinator in the lead and started to get ideas for their final show at the end of the session.

Our first LTC speaker talked about fears and dreams and how to pursue and conquer them. Their afternoon focused on planning the Event X where the campers get to practise working as a team and leadership.

Meanwhile all of our footballers were very busy running around on the pitch, only retiring and coming inside when it was time for some lunch. This morning they practised their motor coordination skills at a number of stations on the football field.

English campers got learn and practise their language skills though interactive fun activities. Creative arts got to broaden their creativity with more interesting piece of art.

Session C and D were full of enthusiasm and new activities for our young and energetic campers. In the evening program all our campers gathered around in the theater for international night preparation, they all got into their countries and started brainstorming how they would present their country. They had to come up with 2 dishes from their country with a sketch, a traditional dance, a traditional dress and their national anthem from their country.

They were all very excited to show their country to all the other campers and show them what a beautiful country they live in.
