German Language Teacher/Activity Counsellor

The German Language teacher/ Activity Counsellor will prepare and lead imaginative German lessons for beginners to advanced level students for several periods during designated times in the day. Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, orienteering, arts and crafts, drama, dance, sailing, swimming, football and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during mealtimes and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Essential: Applicants must be native German speakers and also speak a good level of English.(B2.) - Applicants must have German language teaching experience. Please note that a basic first aid certificate and a criminal background certificate are mandatory requirements for this role. Applicants must be available for the full summer season (22nd June- 27th July 2025).

Programme Staff - TEFL Teacher/Activity Counsellor

The TEFL Teacher teaches beginners to advanced level English for several periods during designated times in the day. A variety of backgrounds are represented and children vary in age and ability in the classroom. Teacher is required to submit long-range plans, plan daily lessons and monitor students' progress using effective techniques. Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, orienteering, arts and crafts, drama, dance, sailing, swimming, football and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Essential: - Applicants must hold a relevant teaching qualification (TEFL, CELTA or equivalent) to teach English as a foreign language and have at least 6 months classroom teaching. Please note that a basic first aid certificate and a criminal background certification are mandatory requirements for this role.
