Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
LTC kick off
An early rise and shine in the Swiss Alps today. The sun was shining bright for our first full day of LTC.
Our breakfast buffet was followed by an inspirational session led by Dave Allen, our very own LTC leader. He illustrated various aspects of leaderships through challenging team games and his personal experiences meeting Nelson Mandela. Qualities such as humility, initiative and charisma were some of the many leadership traits suggested by LTC campers.
The afternoon bus ride took us to the high ropes! Zip lines, heights, adrenaline, bridges and ladders were some of the many exhilarating obstacles LTC campers faced today.
The ASAP, A Team and Pink Panthers then came head to head in mini Olympics. After a hearty dinner, our 3 groups competed against each others for some chocolate. There was screaming and shouting to encourage each and every person to complete the tournament. All teams performed wonderfully and are now sound asleep, dreaming about what awaits them tomorrow.
- Breakfast: Buffet - cheese, ham, bread, eggs, yogurt, cereals, fruit
- Lunch: Tortellini with pesto sauce, Green salad, Veg, Fruit salad
- Dinner: Salad buffet, Thai green curry, Rice, Roasted potatoes, Vanilla cream with strawberries, Lemon cake
