Summer Camp LTC, Leysin

29th July 2016

Last day, full of activities and goodbyes

Last day today and it has been the fullest of all! It started early in the morning with the event voted by the kids earlier in the week and planned by the counselors based on their wish. The weather was awesome and we headed towards Clarens, the beach of picturesque Montreux. We all had the chance to enjoy the sun, play beach volleyball, admire the combination of the lake with the mountains under the shiny sun, but most importantly have one hour of paddle boarding. That was very much enjoyable for all, the water was warm and pleasant and the environment of unique beauty. Afterwards, we went to Cailler chocolate factory and museum where we had a very live explanation of the chocolate history and production and we had the chance to taste all different Cailler chocolates.
Full of sweet memories, before dinner the kids packed their staff and right after, there was given time to them to write a letter to themselves about anything they have learned and they feel, which they will receive at home in a year time. And then a different prom night took place with a short walk towards the campfire place of Prafandaz, from where the view, at the time of the sunset, was impressive. After lots of pictures as well as melted mash mellows, we walked back to the hotel singing under the summer sky. Before starting kissing goodbye, we saw the enjoyable but also touching movie that David Allen had prepared with the highlight moments of this life trip.
