Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
Football, Recapitulation and Gladiator!
This beautiful morning the schedule was different and the morning activity involved a refreshing football match among all campers, boys and girls. Four teams were made, and they all got to play one another in 20 minute matches. The enthusiasm of all the kids was impressive, even of the ones that were not initially keen on football. We all enjoyed the football matches, in which great cooperation was required. as well as targeted leadership by the team captains and motivation of all the members.
After lunch, a funny game requiring observation, broad knowledge as well as good reflexes, took place indoors. The kids had to answer questions related to the camp but also there were some of general interests. Once the discussed the answer with their team, they raced across the room to grab the ball before the other teams did. In the continuation David had his last session where he recapitulated the leadership lessons and he ended up with some riddles and brain teasers.
After dinner, we had to say goodbye to Thomas, who left early, and the first tears appeared. . .
The night finished relaxing at the floor of LTC room with pillows, duvets and pop-corn watching the Gladiator film and getting messages about leadership and the high ideals.
