Summer Camp England
Carnival night !
On Tuesday it was Carnival Night ! The sun finally pierced the clouds so campers can happily enjoyed all the fun carnival stands set up down Secret Garden without being wet ! They were playing in teams in order to win points, so all of them took a turn to enjoy each stand as Fortune Tellers, Face Painting, Inflatable Sumo Suits, Inflatable Bull or Hold your Humor for example. They also had fun get dressed up to have their picture taken!
Before this crazy and funny night at Village Camps, campers went in the morning with their own program ! Activity and Adventure went offsite to the Harrogate Climbing Center to experience a challenging activity : Rock Climbing!
English Program was outdoors to play games and get to know each other better, all of this in English of course !
Football and Basketball programs were still carefully listening to their coachs in order to improve and get ready for matches next week!
Then, kids have enjoyed all afternoon new activities as Lubi ball, invented by our Yellow colour leader Lubi, Capture the Flight or Be your own superhero ! They had to use their imagination in order to create their own cloak of superhero!
At the end of this big day, kids went to bed on time in order to be full of energy next morning !
- Breakfast: Assorted cereals, toast & preserves, tea, coffee & hot chocolate, fruit juice, fresh fruit, natural yoghurt, pain au chocolat.
- Lunch: Happy wrapping : pulled pork wraps, mixed bean wraps & sweet potato wedges, carrot and pea medley & gravy. Salad bar. Pineapple upside down cake with custard
- Dinner: Pizza Supper : deep crust pizza cheese and tomato or Pepperoni Pizza, topped with homemade tomato sauce & mozarella.
