Summer Camp England
Tonight's gonna be a big night !
We can't believe that it is already friday and this day was one of our best memories !
In the morning, programs followed their activities as usual.
Afternoon was full of diverse sign ups such as Zumba, swimming, music, kickball, bootcamp, arts & crafts or even boardgames!
The rest of the afternoon was dedicated to the final preparation of the Big Night! It is one of our all camp evening and also one of our best tradition. Basically it is the Olympics of the Camp with an atmosphere that you can only find at York.
The camp is divided within several teams of different colours and themes, all ages combined, and they had to prepare chants, a banner and a mascot. After all the opening parade, it was time for number of relay races. Districts competed against each other's and the atmosphere was filled with loud chanting, cheering and celebrations. It was very difficult for the judges to decide which team had the best tribute. But at the end there was just one team winning the amazing pizza party!!
A wonderful way to celebrate the first half of the session!
- Breakfast: Boiled eggs & Assorted cereals & homemade muesli, fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
- Lunch: Fish & Chips and vegetarian lasagna, salad bar. Homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
- Dinner: BBQ Beef Burger, Pork or Beef or vegetarian Sausages, salad and chocolate muffins
