Adventure of a Lifetime !
We can't believe that it is already Thursday, time runs so fast here at VC !!
Today, in the morning as usual, everyone went to their activities: Creative Arts and English programs were working on each of their projects. Performing Arts are really engaged with the creation of their final Friday show. Football campers are ready to beat the counsellors at the campers vs counsellors football match. Activity and adventure went off site at the Leeds Sailing and enjoyed having a rush of adrenaline !!
After lunch, campers signed up for tie dye, ultimate frisbee, baseball, swimming, cooking, playground adventure, arts & crafts or even more football.
In the afternoon, all the campers and counsellors, all ages combined were divided into 7 teams with different colours and themes. They had to prepare a chant, banner and mascot to represent their team which will take place the next evening. It is called : the BIG NIGHT !
After dinner, the yellows had their pool party with plenty of games, laughs and party food... there is nothing to say, the pictures say a lot! :)
- Breakfast: Bacon or Beef Sausage sandwiches. Assorted cereals & homemade muesli, fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
- Lunch: Cheese and tomatoe pizza or pepperoni pizza with sautéed potatoes, baked beans. Salad bar. Bananas& custard/ Homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
- Dinner: Pancetta & red pepper sauce. Tomatoe & green olive sauce. Salad bar. Baked pears with honey & cinnamon. Homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
