Manchester Excursion!

Excursion Saturday arrived with many excited campers eagerly preparing for a day to shop in England's premier shopping paradise, The Trafford Centre. There were queues all day long on Friday for the bank, with many of our campers already knowing what they were going to buy today.

After having a well-deserved sleep in, we had a traditional cooked English breakfast before getting ready to board our buses for the 2 hour journey to Manchester. Right after arriving to the Trafford Centre the Yellows got to see the recently released movie, Minions and got a few slots of shopping time. Although it was hard for some to follow in English, everyone said they really enjoyed it and could follow the whole story. Yellows were very tired coming home and went straight to bed having had an amazing day.

Our Reds and Blues went to Manchester were the first one to arrive to one of the biggest shopping malls in England. They both had free time for shopping. The Blues chose to watch Jurassic World 3 while the Reds voted for Inside Out. All the campers enjoyed buying clothes for themselves and other small things as well as gifts for their loved ones.

Today was a great success with everyone reporting a great day. Most of our campers attended all of their meetings on time, even if it meant having to run to get to the meeting on time. We had many campers arriving to their meetings out of breath. They were all very polite, courteous and in great humour all day and it was a great pleasure to have gone on this excursion .
