Outdoor Education staff lead a range of outdoor activities such as trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, orienteering, mountain navigation, team building activities bush craft and mountain expeditions. Activities are physically challenging, mentally stimulating, and encourage the development of personal and social skills.
Strong emphasis is placed on adventure education, environmental education, and personal and social education. Additional responsibilities include pastoral care of groups and evening programmes.
Our Autumn Outdoor Education programme take place in Leysin, Torgon and aSaas Grund.
We are looking for Outdoor Education leaders who have a high personal competency in mountain navigation, expedition work, rope work, team building and are motivated to learn new skills. They should be comfortable working both independently and part of a team, be organised, flexible, trustworthy and have pride in their professional practice.
A current first aid and CPR qualification is mandatory for this position.
