Programme Staff - Longboard/skateboard Activity Counselor (male)

the Activity Counsellor /Longboard/ skateboard counsellor leads Longboard sessions for a group of 10- 17 year old campers. Other duties include assisting in a wide range of sporting, creative and outdoor activities such as trekking, surfing, swimming, orienteering, hiking, Beach volleyball, arts and crafts, drama, dance, football, tennis and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and off campus excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicants must have Longboard/ skateboard experience and be willing to assist in other sports and adventure activities. Applicants must have experience working with 10- 17 year olds. Please note that a criminal background check is a mandatory requirement for this role. Please note that due to Male-Female staff ratios, we can only consider male applicants.

Health Care Counsellor/ Emergency First Aid Activity Counsellor is responsible for camper and staff health. Daily duties range from providing first aid and administering medication to participating in all aspects of camp life. Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as swimming, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, drama, dance, tennis. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Emergency First Aid, Wilderness First Aid certification or an RSN qualification and have a minimum of one year of experience working with children.Due to male to female staff ratios we can only accept applications form male applicants for this role.
