Programme Staff - Activity Counsellor/ Driver

We are looking to hire an Activity Counsellor/ / Camp driver who will drive a 9 seat mini bus around the Ardèche region to transort staff/ cmapers and pick up camp supplies/ Complete airport transfers. When not completing driver duties, the Activity Counsellor/ Driver will assist in a wide range of sporting, creative and outdoor activities such as trekking, caving, Canadian canoeing, swimming, rock climbing, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, horse riding, tennis, football and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.
Applicant must have a clean driving licence. At least 2 years driving experience, have experience driving a 9 seat mini-van and experience working with children and must be able to kayak confidently and independently.
Due to male- female staff ratio, this position is only open to male applicants.
A basic first aid certification and valid criminal background check are mandatory requirements for this position
Kitchen/ Domestic Assistant works under the supervision camp director. Duties include preparing and maintaining the campus to the highest standards of cleanliness, assisting in the kitchen, serving meals and carrying out laundry as required.
Applicant must have relevant work experience working as a kitchen assistant or as domestic personnel.

Our Activity Counsellor will assist campers whilst they take part in various adventure and sports activities such as trekking, kayaking, swimming, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, drama, tems sports. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.
Applicant must have experience working in a summer camp environment and must be able to swim and have basic kayaking experience. Due to male to female staff ratio, we can only consider female applicants at this time.
