Programme Staff - Golf Activity Counsellor

The Golf activity counsellor assists during golfing sessions as required by the head golf coach. The golf lessons take place for three hours every weekday. Afternoon and evening duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, swimming, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, tennis, football, lacrosse, cricket and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicant must have interest in playing golf Please be aware that a 1st Aid and CPR certification and a criminal record background check are mandatory requirements for this position.

Adventure counsellor leads the Adventure programme as well as leading a wide range of sporting, creative and outdoor activities such as trekking, swimming, rock climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, raft building, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, tennis, soccer and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties. Due to staff ratio of male to female staff members, we can now only accept applications from male applicants.

Applicant must have qualifications and/or proven experience in relevant Outdoor Adventure activities. A first aid-CPR certification and a criminal background certification are mandatory for this position

The Photographer/Videographer takes digital photos and records videos of all the aspects of Camp life on a daily basis and posts them on the Village Camps website and social media. Applicant will also be responsible for taking video coverage of the campers and editing this coverage into short promotional videos. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicant must have photographic and video/film making experience. Please note that a criminal background certification is mandatory for this position.

The receptionist/ Administrative Assistant greets all visitors entering the building, follows sign in and out procedures depending on age of campers, answers telephone enquiries in an appropriate manner, maintains a log book of all messages received and distributes accurate messages to individuals, calls parents to discuss the progress of their child as required by the camp director, distributes incoming mail and delivers out-going mail to post office daily, and ensures that copies of camp lists and activity information are maintained and updated at all times. Participation in all aspects of camp life is expected.

Applicant must have experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of a second language such as French or Italian is an advantage. Please note that a criminal background certification is mandatory for this position
