TEFL English Teacher/Activity Counsellor

The TEFL Teachers will teach beginner to advanced level English to international campers aged 10- 17 years. Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, swimming, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, tennis, football and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicants must be a native English speaker and hold a TEFL qualification. Applicants must have proven classroom teaching experience. A basic first aid certification and a DBS background check are mandatory requirements for this role.

Our Adventure counsellors lead international campers aged 10- 17 whilst they take part in various outdoor Adventure activities such as trekking, canyoning, raft building, orienteering, mountain biking, basic survival skills, archery, climbing, and ropes courses . Applicants must also be willing to assist in a wide range of sports and creative activities. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicants must have outdoor activity qualifications and/or proven experience in Outdoor Adventure activities or currently be studying outdoor adventure education. A basic first aid certification and a DBS criminal background certification are mandatory requirements for this position

Camp Photographer/Videographer

The Photographer/Videographer takes digital photos of all the aspects of Camp life on a daily basis and posts them on the Village Camps website.. Applicants will also be responsible for taking video coverage of the campers and editing this coverage into short promotional videos. Additional responsibilities include supervising the campers during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicants must have photographic and video/film making experience. Please note that a DBS criminal background check is a mandatory requirement for this position.
