Lights, camera, action! In this programme, aspiring actors, singers and dancers will all improve their skill levels and, at the same time, work closely with each other and try out various performing arts disciplines.
This unique Performing Arts programme brings together drama, dance, music and singing! It has been skillfully designed to improve individual performance, encourage teamwork and is suitable for enthusiastic participants of all abilities.
This programme is directed by a highly experienced team of drama and production specialists, singing teachers and a dance coach.
The skills, talents and aspirations of campers are assessed at the beginning and goals set. The team works on developing the main skills of each camper but everyone is encouraged to work in all three disciplines.
During the first few days ideas are discussed and the campers, together with the teaching team, agree on a basic theme. The young performers are shaped into a slick unit with everyone participating. Actors, actresses, singers and dancers – all have the chance to shine and step into the spotlight.

For the creation of their unique theatre production, campers will have at their disposal the Swiss Alpine Centre’s very own auditorium, equipped with lights and ample room to create a masterpiece, as well as a unique full-scale historic theatre in the middle of the village of Leysin about a 5 minute walk from the residence.

Final Night Gala Performance
Final Night Gala Performance is an exciting, colourful stage production of the original concept created by the performing arts campers during the first few days at Camp. The cast shows their individual and collective talents in an impressive stage show attended by the whole camp – a really vocal and appreciative audience! Parents too are welcome to attend, and link to a video of the complete performance is sent to each participant.
Accommodation, Excursions & Activities
Campers stay at the Village Camps owned and managed Swiss Alpine Centre. The centre has spacious, mainly en-suite bedrooms for 3-4 campers as well as lounges and recreational areas and impressive dining facilities. The campus is well situated just above the main village and close to its excellent sport and leisure facilities.
There are exciting excursions to Geneva, the lakeside town of Lausanne, a chocolate factory and the Water-Park in nearby Aigle.
There is a variety of afternoon and evening activities both in Camp and outdoors, which campers from all programmes participate together. These all camp activities are organised and supervised by Village Camp counsellors.
