Rain doesn't stop our fun!
This morning the campers heard our very own David Allen deliver his inspiring talk on leadership. His talk included various activities that challenged everyone to work as a team to complete them, including being "handcuffed" to a partner! The main message of his talk included the significance of respect, the importance of a first impression and to find joy in life. In the afternoon the campers were split into five groups and enjoyed a trivia challenge. The first half of the trivia challenge included five different stations where teams tried to collect as many points as possible through charades, clay molding, name that tune, taboo and t-shirt decorating. The second half required a little more brain power as the campers were challenged on more difficult questions about various topics around the world. After a satisfying dinner, the campers enjoyed an entertaining drumming session with Robert. Each camper was able to release any stress they might have had and learned some relaxation techniques to use in the future.
