Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
Canyoning!
Well today really got the heart pumping as this afternoon we went canyoning! After getting kitted up with wetsuites, helmets and life jackets we were led down to the river by our amazing river guides. We followed the river down, sometimes on our backs just floating and some time scrambling over rocks. Other times we were challenged to jump from large boulders and cliff faces into the large pools of water. Some found this easier than others but everybody faced their fears (or not!) and got involved. The last challenge proved to be the most daunting for many people ...a 21m high cliff jump! Quite terrifying but a great acheivement for those who managed it.
The morning saw some excellent team building games being led by Andrew. The campers had to assist each other through a large paper hole on the wall amongst other thought provoking activities.
After a delicious dinner, the campers are being challenged once more for today by Mr David Allen.
- Breakfast: cereal, bread, meat, cheese, yogurt
- Lunch: burgers
- Dinner: selection of meat, vegetables, salad and a selection of desserts.
