Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
The Day of Ultimate Adventure
Yesterday the 18th of July brought in a whole array of treats for the campers. The day began nicely with a motivational talk by Mr Phil, who captivated the camper's attention by performing eccentric stunts such as a setting fire to a book and running thought provoking activities.
The afternoon activity allowed the campers to participate in either parkour team building activities or bobsledding, depending on what they had done the previous day.
During the evening our minds were blown by Russ Peak, a 'mentalist' who performed a series of mind reading tricks. The campers were thrilled, shocked, exhilarated and confused by the magic that prevailed in front of their eyes. Ultimately Mr Peak became a personal favourite and I'm sure some of the campers would agree. Photos to follow...
Today however, we embarked on a big watery adventure with an afternoon of white water rafting!!
This again proved to be a personal favorite amongst many of the campers, even if a bit chilly. We all really had to apply our leadership skills in order to triumph over the rapids! Such good fun, great excersize and a perfect team building activity.
The day is winding down now however, with a kick back in the hotel's swimming pool, equipt with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Ahhhh...!
