Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's The Finale!
It's our last day at camp! We've been immensely lucky to witness friendships start that will last forever and we are so grateful to have offered those two weeks of fun and adventure to our campers, but before we say goodbye, we had another great day at camp!
Our Blue campers woke up earlier than usual to head down to Aigle and the adventure park for their High Ropes adventure! They climbed the trees and took on the huge zip-line! They also had the opportunity to try the free-fall from the tall tower!
Reds and Grellows headed down to the Suchet for one last adventure activity! They split in teams and took on challenges that reminded them of all the activities they had these past few weeks! They competed in fire making, shelter making, walking on the line, putting on a harness and a helmet!
After lunch, our campers took some time to prepare for their trip tomorrow as they packed their bags with our staff's help! They were also given the opportunity to go down to the village and do some last day shopping for any gifts and souvenirs they would like to bring back home with them!
As tonight is Gala Night, our staff prepared the dinning rooms for the special occasion and a last meal all together, with the additional company of a collection of pictures taken this session! Everyone then headed to the auditorium, where a few last surprises took place! An extra Secret Friends special, a video with all of the best moments of camp and also the thank you, to our campers, to the staff, to the parents and guardians of our campers!
The night concluded with Disco! Our campers danced along to the tunes with both smiles and tears on their faces! Hugs were shared and goodbyes were said as our campers prepared to say goodbye!
It has been such a pleasure watching them come together as a group and we are so proud of the friendships we have seen form these past few weeks! We would like to thank our campers for bringing their energy, for being active and joyful and having such an open spirit! We hope you enjoyed the activities we prepared with such care and we hope to see you again next year!
