Camp Blog: Farewell from Village Camp York
Today marked the last day of our amazing camp at Village Camp York, and what a day it was! The morning was filled with excitement and anticipation as our horse riders put on their final show. They demonstrated the skills they’ve been perfecting all week, impressing everyone with their talent and dedication. Meanwhile, the football campers were busy training for their much-anticipated match against the counselors, gearing up for an epic showdown. Our English campers spent the morning creating special certificates for the counsellors, using the skills they’ve honed throughout their lessons. Adventure campers enjoyed a thrilling session of trampolining, bouncing high and having a blast. In the afternoon, the legendary campers vs. counselors match took place. It was a fierce and fun game, with both sides giving it their all. In the end, the campers emerged victorious, celebrating their hard-earned win with cheers and high-fives. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ, savoring the tasty food and sharing stories from the week. As evening fell, we gathered for our final night together. The awards ceremony was a heartfelt event, recognizing the achievements and contributions of campers and counselors alike. We ended the night with a lively disco, dancing and laughing together one last time. As we said our goodbyes, there were plenty of hugs and promises to stay in touch. Goodbye, campers. We will miss you and cherish the memories we’ve made together. Until next time!
