Excursion Wednesday

Yesterday was a very important day at camp... Excursion Wednesday! Almost all of our programmes enjoyed a day off-site. Golfers and Horse Riders went to their usual training spots while Performing Arts stayed in, rehearsing and adding the final touches to their Friday performance. The Football team went to the Old Trafford football stadium; Creative arts enjoyed a day at Leeds and visited the Art Gallery; and English went to York to have some spooky fun at the York Dungeon! Of course, everyone had time for shopping and eating at their respective locations.

Finally, the Adventure campers packed their bags and left early for Ripley Castle, where they enjoyed a day packed of camp-related activities like rock climbing, archery, survival and toasting marshmellows. It was a wonderful night spent around the campfire, everyone enjoyed some good music, a delicious barbecue and played some games in the English countryside. We hope they got some rest!

For those campers who stayed at camp, we prepared some sports and arts and crafts related activities. In the evening, we watched a movie all together in the Blue Common Room.
