Summer Camp England
It's BIG NIGHT Time!
We can't believe that it is already friday and this day was one of our best memories : sunny and amazing!
In the morning, programs followed their activities as usual. At lunch, we had a BBQ in our secret garden then we played some games with our team for big night to get warmed and prepared for the evening!
The rest of the afternoon was dedicated to the final preparation of the Big Night, wiqth some fun activitienes in a special Big Day to train our campers skills for the final competition! It is one of our all camp evening and also one of our best tradition. Basically it is the Olympics of the Camp with an atmosphere that you can only find at York.
In the evening, they showed what they had prepared : the chant, the banner and their mascot. After all the opening parade, it was time for number of relay races. Districts competed against each other's and the atmosphere was filled with loud chanting, cheering and celebrations. It was very difficult for the judges to decide which team had the best tribute. But at the end there was just one team winning the amazing pizza party and this session it is : The Green ONE DIRECTION!!!! :) A wonderful way to celebrate the first half of the session!
