Weekend! Manchester and York excurtions =)
Campers time to shopping and explore a Little part of York and Manchester!
On saturday we went all together to Trafford Center in Manchester, the second largest shopping center in the United Kingdom!
The campers were piled to the buses straight after breakfast, with a packed lunch in their bags. After a scenic bus ride through country England, Village Camps arrived in Manchester to spend their day at the Trafford Centre.
After shopping for an hour or so each colour group were treated to a movie at the Odeon cinema. The yellow boys and girls got to see Despicable me 3, with plenty of laughs had by both the campers and the counsellors whilst the Blue and Red campers went to watch the Spiderman movie .
After their movies, campers went quickly to their last manchester shopping time and dinner before leave Manchester city, direction QE.
On Sunday, Known as lazy day =), campers had their breakfast and lunch at camp with some free choice activities. After that they went to York city center for a walk and shopping for few hours.
For dinner time all campers were already in the camp, ready for the Talent night! where they shown to everybody their amazing skills! =)
- Breakfast: Continental Breakfast: Cheese omelette, baked beans, Hash browns, mushrooms, assorted of cereals & Homemade muesli, Fresh fruit and natural Yoghurt
- Lunch: Hot neef sarnie, baked butternut squash, roast Potatoes, salad bar (Iceberg lettuce, tomatoe, cucumber, grated cheese, variety of pasta) and Chilled coconut rice pudding, fresh fruit and natural yoghurt
- Dinner: QE sunday Dinner: Pork Chops, Oven roast chiken breast, baked Gnocchi, toasted buckwheat, Baked creamed leeks, salad bar, Sticky sultuna sponge with custard, fresh fruit and natural yoghurt
