Summer Camp England
We are international !
Today was an awesome busy day for our campers and counsellors at Village Camps!
The morning programs were a success as usual. Activity and Adventures stayed on site and prepared for their camp out the next day. Creative arts made amazing drawings. The football team is getting ready for their match against the counsellors. And the performing arts campers are really excited to show their performance to everyone.
In the afternoon, we all watched the football match : yellows against counsellors, and the winners were the yellows !!! They played really good and we were very impressed!
The rest of the afternoon was dedicated to the preparation of the international night ! Two campers of each country cooked a traditional dish for 80 people! After dinner, everyone tasted the amazing tasty food and we can't ask better chief than our campers !
In the evening, it was time for each country to come on stage with entertaining presentations at the theatre. We laughed, we sang, we cheered, we've learned new interesting things. Not to forget the amazing banners and flags that the campers made for their performances.
- Breakfast: Boiled eggs & Assorted cereals & homemade muesli, fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis
- Lunch: Steamed Pasta with a chicken & sweetcorn sauce/ Pasta with tomatoe sauce. Roasted garlic courgettes. Salad Bar. Pear & Cherry crumble with custard/ Homemade yoghurt & fruit coulis.
- Dinner: Steak night with stuffed peppers, sweet potatoe wedges. Salad Bar. Chewy homemade granola bara/homemade yoghurt&fruit coulis
